Sorry that was the basic one here is the one with the racks it dose say how much the racks could carry 650lbs and we could also use it for recon as well I know that it would be a death trap but it still would be cool:aok :O

Ahh ok that's why i didn't find it.
Hmmm then I must rethink my opinion.
The hoverfly2 might just be considered an air jeep then.
You have my humble apology.
Thanks for the find.

The more ya make me argue with ya the more ya see the avitard.:D

Gotta reply to this one.

Helicopters were used operationally by the US during World War II as search and rescue aircraft over the "Hump". The first rescue by a USAAF helicopter happened April 25-26, 1944 in Burma.
The Museum of Aviation, near Robins Air Force Base in Macon Georgia, has a display with pictures of the helicopters in Burma. This same display gives information about their flights and usage. The main problem found with "choppers" was that the air was too thin for the machines to really operate. The technology was just too "new".

A "long distance" rescue can be read about here.

The RAF and Royal Navy both used the Hoverfly during the second world war too, dont where they served or what they did though.
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.
