I don’t think the draft effect is calculated correctly, When I’m one of 15 planes in a row chasing 1 spitfire, I should be able to overtake more quickly reaching the speed of sound.

When the guys at AH  make this correction maybe they can also install a horn!

He must be a NASCAR fan, I think there should be a snappy Conga drum beat sound effect for the ever present Conga line.

I'm not even going to touch the "drafting" scenario. I'll leave that to the less tactful members of the BBS.

You aren't going to reach the speed of sound no matter what you do.
Consider that the speed of sound is about 740mph or so at sea level on a standard day (29.92 @ 15C).

There just isn't an aircraft capable of doing this in AH.  This is a WWII era combat/flight simulation.

sorry to burst yer bubble.

As an aside, if you are one of a 15 ship conga line chasing down a lone spitty, what did he do? Mess with yer sister or something?

I tip my wing down one day and see a train of planes behind one spitfire and say “hmm must be something to this”.  So I bank over and climb in behind the last guy in this airborne rollercoaster.
Finding out quickly that drafting is not an option in AH,  I concentrate not on the bogey but the guy I’m behind, working my up to about the 5th position when out the blue somebody swoops down and takes the joy from the leader of the pack.  Then by the time all of the fuselage parts fly past the other 4 pilots…

Bingo I get the proxy!

So when you catch yourself in that train and you see my spitfire fly through your dashboard (because AH does not allow rubbin) you’ll know I not fighting for the kill but the 5th position.

I'm not a physisist and correct me if I'm wrong, but in the real world, while behind a car you will find a clean pocket of air (called a slipstrem) which, if entered will drag you along smoothly, behind a prop driven aircraft, you will only find turbulence which should have the opposite effect.
