Sorry Tufnuts, I disagree with most of your original post.
HTC's customer service is excellent and has been acknowledged as such time and time again by others. Any game related issue (problem) I've not been able to work through on my own, has been addressed and 99% of the time, resolved by a call to HTC. Each and every time I call, I get through to a human being who provides me a knowledgable response.
As to your gripe about the HTC boards...there are posted parameters of what will and won't be tolerated. I've yet to see Hitech, Skuzzy or Pyro come down on someone unfairly, or close a thread that was in compliance with those parameters. While you seem to have appointed yourself judge & jury for what you deem to be inconsistancies insofar as those who slide vs those who get the "whup stick", consider the fact that HTC personnel can be counted on less than 10 fingers. Although Hitech weighs in from time to time, Skuzzy has the splendid job of monitoring this UBB, along with answering several hundred questions a day from folks who don't bother to read the Help files or Read Me's.
Frankly, I'm beginning to lose patience with the small minority of disgruntled AH players, who seem to think that every gripe they have also reflects the thousands of players who simply enjoy the game for what it is. If you choose to spend your money elsewhere, so be it. Life will go on without you and your complaints.
