The Glacier Jeep Raid
« on: June 15, 2006, 10:23:20 PM »
Today June 15 2006, We the Rooks have written our names into the history books, The infamous Glacier Jeep raid successfully captured V70 from the Knights.
Seventeen very brave souls all set out into battle equiped with troop carrying Jeeps and stormed the enemy. I thank you all who took part in this capture, all of you who provided air and ground support we couldnt have done it without you, and those of you who drove Jeeps take pride in knowing that you were possibly the first ever to take a base with a vehicle that was once thought to be useless. I will be posting more jeep raids in the future for all those who would like to participate, and again I Thank you all. It was great fun!

Long Live the Glacier Jeep Raid!!!

17 jeeps = 170 troops :)

I would have loved to see them all charge in rows like ants. A 101 airborne invation was tried before where 5-6 goons would drop all together over a defended field, but killing them hanging from the silk is much easier. I don't think a V base has enough firepower to kill 161 running troops before they reach the map room.

17 jeeps = 51 troops. 68 if you count the drivers.

Hehe yup that was us, that was Jeep mission number two.... Raid Numbers 1, 2 and 3 all kinda turned out like that. I was determind to make a mission that takes a base with jeeps Im just sorry so many brave jeep drivers were sacrafised in the process :(

I started playing AH2 shortly after I saw Glacier Girl fly, That plane got me hooked, I just didnt know P38s were so hard to fly so I stuck with the P40s, thats the plane that feels the best, everything else just handles weird.

well mine has 10 troops. I also installed tracks instead of the rear wheels to improve driving over sand and mud. Not to mention extra armor and Hi-Fi system with CD changer.

Yours must be the cheaper model without all the extras.
