Stick Mapping
« on: May 28, 2006, 01:16:36 PM »
Is there any way to allow multiple functions to be mapped with the same key?

I did this in WBs to let me use combat flaps with a single button on the stick ("Q" key mapped to a stick button  - first press = down/stickset switch, second press = up/stickset switch), but AH II won't let me.  It keeps unmapping the previously set key.

It would sure be a help if someone could help me out with this.

go to your htc aces high 2 settings folder /select all ... turn off its "Read only" setting in properties  .

now reset your stick map and save . it should work fine now

Skull, AFAIK you cant map two functions to the same button in AH.

But you have 4 modes (=stick sets) available. Mode 1 is for planes, Mode 2 is for vehicles/boats. I think Mode 3 and 4 are free for use. Map flaps down to the button in Mode1, then map Flaps up to the same button in Mode3. Now all you need is a button/key to switch between modes in flight.
