Well anyways my last Siatek X45 J/S was in shambles by last Thursday..so I wait til the wifey is at work and I call her...my joystick is broke can I go to Best Buy and get another? She tells me "Dammm that's two within two years..... buy a better one!"
So I'm lookin at two broke Saitek X45's and think... hey I had 2 year warrenties on them. So I go to Best Buy and they have no X45's just X52's... well the wifey did say to buy a better one... so I bought an x52.
Got it home and Beleth helped me program it. It's different. But wait!!! I have two broke x45's and I break out the reciepts...wouldn't ya know one would have expired tomorrow... boxed both up this morning along with an Altec Lansing head set that got messed up....me and 7 year old Son in tow went to Best Buy this Morning at 10am.
After review of foresaid reciepts we had a credit of $164.00... Picture the scene, two boys 48 and 7 in Best Buy with credit!!!! It was like an old Game Show we're running and grabbin crap, throwing some back, going to the cashier to tally the amount and running to grab more crap. At the end we had 1 back up Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick, 3 CD's... Best of Jim Croce, Best of Chicago and Best of the Doobie Brothers...Number one Son had 3 PlayStation Games....
So at the final we were pleased and felt gifted..until this young redheaded cashier, not old enuff to buy beer, chewing gum tells me that she'll have to mark up the $41.00 Logitech joystick to equal one of the $74 Saiteck X45s I'm turning in....No Way Hon...marking up $41 to $74? She said I had to get a replacement equal to what I was turning in... I told her you don't have an equal...not even in the stock room...cuz I asked 3 times and even about ordering one into Best Buy off the inTardNet...no way.
Now the game comes in...The Aces High Stock Game... I looked her straight in the eye and say "No, this isn't gonna happen, How long have you worked here?" She mumbles a few years... "BTW do you know what your Stock opened yesterday at and what it closed at?" Like Bambi in the headlights... "Well Hon I do it opened at $51.50 and closed after hours at $52.73 a share...know why I know? I'm a shareholder. Now can I speak with your Manager?" Female Manager comes by and she whispers to the Manager...No mark up of the joystick and I end up with $27 credit.
I was pleasantly greeted leaving the door, no check of reciept and wished a Happy Fathers Day...
I must never use this Power for Evil!
