Has anybody ever noticed that the russians are all drunkards? if you look around the cockpit, there is always a bottle of somthing! Look around see. I know that in the IL 2 its behind the seat and in the LA 7 its under it!
seeds have been laid...but they arent trees we're growing. we're growing organic grenades!- 321BAR
I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack

Tom Clancy:"The Russians can only produce two things properly, AK's and Wodka".

Can't put an AK in those cockpits so...

Hey...even the Russians have some good traits.
Democracy is two wolves deciding on what to eat. Freedom is a well armed sheep protesting the vote.

If you are referring to being arrested for flying while intoxicated, yes.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Not true. Russians make Vodka, Wodka is usually made in Poland. And Russians also are able to make really bad vodka. The worst isecticide I ever drank was made in Murmansk in early-90s, "ArcticPivo" distillery. Or I'll better call it just a "factory", the stuff probably wasn't distilled.

And please, don't generalise, some Russians even drive cars.

Probably with an AK and a bottle of (Polish) Wodka under their seats...

Just kidding, for my information on the countries of this world I seldom turn to Tom Clancy ;)

Hmm, Estel sometimes rides with his Saiga (a .410 caliber semiauto Kalashnikov) under his seat :) You can aslo ask him about flying when drunk ;)

"Red Storm Rising" is sometimes really hillarious. The begining is pathetic: Azerbaijanian terrorist Ibragim Tolkadze :D

Vodka on the rocks with a mint leaf - it's the worst perversion that I have ever seen... Vodka on the rocks is a perversion, but with a mint leaf it's even worse. Worse then field hockey and ice ballet.

I think Gagarin died drunk flying. Since he was communist hero, he could do whatever he wanted...including getting wasted on vodka and hopping in he`s mig15..

It was a popular rumour here, since noone cared to disclose the investigation results. Another rumour is that he's still alive in some mental clinic where he was put because he almost turned dissident after Komarov's crash.

There was absolutely no way that a man of his scale could be allowed to fly drunk. Another thing is that he didn't drink, he only drank a shot or two in a good company not to offend others, nothing more.
