Questions for Gun Laws, etc.

SBR-Short Barreld Rifle
CLEO-Chief Law Enforcement Officer

Ok,

From what I understand to be able to have a SBR, I need a Form 1 the SBR tax stamp and a sign off from the CLEO.

So, how would I go about doing this?

And would the CLEO in Jacksonville, be the Sheriff?

:huh

More than likely as far as the CLEO is concerned. Some states have a State Police and they are the CLEO.  Almost any department has an information number. Why don't you just go to the source and call them?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

AFAIA If the rifle is on the C&R list you don't need an SBR stamp.

Click on 'firearms' , then scroll down left index for 'search', the type in 'Curios Relics List'.

It's a newly manufactored weapon, so I know it can't be done under C&R.

I'm gonna have to go to the source..

Oh well, I need to talk to the sheriffs office anyways about my dog and SAR.
