Taking bases with Con Plane?
« on: June 25, 2006, 12:52:04 AM »
Just thought that was odd to see all the Rook RV-8's straffing the runway and gunning down the hangers.

Didn't feel right that they'd use it to their advantage.  Rather frustrating actually, lol.

Oh well.  One map, one day, many dweebs.  Do we have a name for the RV-8 dweebs yet?  Haven't checked :D

Heck, I'm all about the con guys having fun!  Just wished it was an all-or-nothing kinda thing.  They were left enabled for the rooks until about 11:30pm PST, while turned off for everyone else.  Would have been a blast to dogfight RV-8 vs. RV-8!

So, yeah...they got busy with the con planes and used 'em.  What was odd was that when the Knights had them, we furballed with them and pretty much kept it to that.  Didn't want to abuse the toy handed to us to play with.  Was shocked to see them later on busting down hangers, taking out ord and troops, and vulching runways when ours were disabled and Rooks got to play with em.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.  Anyways, for the short time we got them, they were a blast!  Even if I got ejected for flying one at first!  *grr....*

A whine has been recorded :)

Nothing personal since apparently there was apparently some hardcore whining by others in the arena, but if your mental stability requires "normality" in the MA, don't fly on con night.  Seriously.  It's been that way for what... 12 years now?  You'd think people would have gotten the clue by now.

Hmm, was trying not to make it sound like a little princess fit.  Sorry if it sounded whiney to ya eagl.  5 years here and I'm still terrified to post because board nazis are waiting to demonstrate the enormity of their e-peen whenever a concern is voiced or questions raised.

You were the one that flew a 262 near them. They only go 200 MPH; you can run easy. :D

Ok, let's try this again.

I like the evil con mission!  It's great!  For all the folks at the convention.

What I didn't like was the Con plane enabled for one side and disabled for everyone else, and then the planes being used to pork troops/ord and kill hangers.  And laser vulching.

Hope that helps out a bit.

No not really a whine is a whine, thats why you go to the con to play with HTs new toys, or switch to Rook for the night. Everyone knows con mishon ( for Dale) while have susprirses for guys that act went, so stop crying and either go or dont play on con night......
