Yup Eagle Eye, good one.

This one does it for me.

And this one is damned good, from last Friday night.

Does EVERYTHING have to be point/counter point with you?

Just appreciating what Eagle Eye shared (I liked it) and sharing what moves me. Same theme - it just turns turns out that my view is different, so the content is. As in everything, take it or leave it... no biggie. I'm not trying to be difficult. :)

Interestingly enough, James Blunt wrote "No Bravery" while he was stationed in Kosovo.

The person that did that flash animation, made it seem that he's singing about Bush. He's obviously not. Great song though.. the lyrics are just stunning. Wow.

Ummm...ok.  It's quite evident that what you posted is in direct contrast to what Eagle Eye posted, as in no punches pulled whatsoever.  Not trying to be difficult?  I find that hard to believe.

If I were a betting man I'd wager $20 you posted those links as a way to get a rise out of EE if for no other reason.  If you like what he posted, fine.  But was it necessary to post what you did and then claim, "Hey, I liked his, it made me cry!  And this one I am posting will make me cry too although, it is about the obvious killing of innocent people in this so-called 'War On Terrorism' but you know what?  So what?  It makes me cry and just like Eagle's I'll post it here for you to watch and cry too without making an obvious political statement about my obvious opposition to this ridiculous war and the ignorant administration that perpetuated it upon an innocent nation!"

But, hey, I'm not trying to be difficult. :)

Sandy, I don't think Clapton is singing about U.S. troop casualties, just personal loss.  Lyrics are stunning, too.

Easy there Diablo.

It's war videos. Eagle Eye posted one, Raider added his own, I added mine, and I hope to see others posted. I didn't see the "pro rah rah war videos only" sign posted on the door.

Nah, that wasn't my point....sighs

It just seems to me that you politicize just about any thread you post to.  Maybe indirectly or not it just seems that way.  My reply wasn't an attack as it was more of a question followed by an elaborate illustration of how I perceived your initial post.

Just my kind of odd way of saying this board would be a little more boring without your left knee-jerk posts.

So there...nanner nanner nanner!! :p

I could care less if you love bush hate bush or don't know who he is. The point I wish to make in this video was just that. NEWS FLASH WE ARE AT WAR  If you have a beef tell the republicans Nov 2008 but till then support your troops, country and president. And the three are one so you can not diffrenciate.  Anti bush is always welcomed by the enemy and turned to be anti american- therefor anti troop so till this is over get behind the cause till they all come home.

Ugh...that song gets me every time.  He is singing about his little boy who died after falling out of a window.  There is a window at my house that my kids always wave goodbye to me from. I have seen them leaning against the screen and immediately rushed back inside to stop them from doing it.  I got so flabbergasted by it that a few weeks ago I actually sat all three of them down, explained what happened to Eric Clapton's son and told them about the song.  Then I made them listen to it.  We all teared up.  They don't lean against windows anymore.
