Buyin'?  Hell, no!  Whatever gave you that impression?

Last two bottles were gifts...made 'em last more than a year each.

Jameson. Altho I prefer Knappogue Castle for Irish whiskey and Maker's Mark for Kentucky bourbon.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

All of those on your list are blends I believe. Sorry, but for me even the best blend is as good as a mediocre single malt.

Cant help it lukster... those 4 are what i have to choose from in the trade.

To be honest, i like all 4 even tho they are very different. We are not talking sipping whisky anyway, i have a few bottles of the really good stuff. Nope.. these will be "getting hammered" bottles that ill take with me on holiday that starts on saturday.

Given the list, I'd have to take:

Grouse for sippin'
Jameson's for making drinks.

BUT - that is a pretty limited list.

Given my preference, I think I'd take a nice bottle of Macallan's 18 yr old over both.  Scotch shouldn't be drunk until it's legal ;)

Black Label.

If you're gonna drink yourself stupid, might as well do it with something that's as dear to your wallet as it is to your liver.
