And then died himself; it was an intentional ramming.

8-September-1914

the first ARMED air victory ( ) happened in 5-october-1914 when Sgt pilot Frantz convinced his mechanic, caporal Quenault, to load a light MG on his Voisin observation biplane. After a long "fight" they downed a german Aviatik.
