Joy stick took dump

Pryo or Skuzzy:  Last evening I was playing along getiing killed and enjoying myself as usual when I see a message about Control mode 2 appear.  Happened to be tanking at the time and started the tank and would not go into gear.  Got into the gun and turret would not turn.  Seems I lost all my setting to my joystick.  I am using CH pro  stick, throttle and pedals.  Nothing was being reconized.  I calibrated several times and could see the imputs being reconized but I lost all my mapping.  When the new patch came out other people were having problems but mine worked fine.  What caused this and what do I do not to have this happen in the future?  I use the Control  manager setup in CH and then map to the game.  I also have never been able to get the second hat switch: the one on the throttle to be reconized in AH.  Any  help will help keep my blood pressure down.  Thanks   BLT280

ini the AH stick mapping area there is a box to map mode 2 the same as mode 1. Just check the box and you'll have the same setup as the old days. On the other hand, you can now set-up mode 2 any way you want so when you switch to a GV its set-up for a GV. With all the buttons I have on me CH stuff, I'll never remember another whole lay out !!

The only control I don't have working on my CH stick and throttle set-up is the mini joystick on the throttle... just havn't taken the time to set it up. I used the CH manager to program all my buttons.

There is a toggle, if I'm not mistaken, that can be disabled so that modes don't automatically switch. I went ahead and programmed modes 2 and 3, but I think if you disable the switching, you should have your same controls as before. However, with the changes to control mapping on the whole, you may have some issues with certain mappings.

Anyway, I'd probably do what TF suggests; copy mode 1 into mode 2, and make any adjustments there. The new control setup is just as good or better, even if you were accustomed to the old setup, like i was.

Yesterday morning I experienced the exact same thing except I could change gears but I couldn't move at all.  I was in a GV at A97 spawnpoint to A98.  I too have all CH gear.  I checked my stuff to make sure that I was using map 1 mode and no box checked to use any other mode and then went in and checked it and same result.  I checked and re-checked everything and the only thing that would fix the problem after many restarts of the game and reboots of my system was to completely reinstall AH.  Now patch 3 was first installed by the auto updater but the reinstall was the full game patch3 and no problems now.

My X52 has been acting stranger than normal since the update. My "back right" view is stuck in "back right up" even tho it says it's correct. My slider stopped working for RPM control even tho it shows to be working in setup.
