I don't know about you people but I've had all too many close calls caused by these yakers and drivers.

Cellphones? Huh. What about smoking when driving? I'v seen on TV, that in GB they want to prohibit smoking when you are driving...

its illeagle in the uk to use a phone while driving unless its a handsfree one.
stupid thing is its not illeagle to use a 2 way radio?

I don't think this qualifies as a reasonable comparison as the Brits have never seen a vice they did not wish to ban in some way.

It's been illegal to talk in a cellphone while driving here in Finland for 2 years or so. But if you have a headset or a BlueTooth set, it's legal... The logic behind that fails me, if I use my phone to talk it's illegal, if I use the same phone with my bluetooth-headset it's legal?

My boss drives with 3 phones at once sometimes. They really need to pass a law on these.

I suffered a fractured sternum (Being thrown against seatbelt) and had my perfectly good nissan sentra totaled by an idiot dialing on a cell phone. I was stopped at a redlight when he ran into me from behind going at least 35 mph. Five cars (his, mine and the three in front of me that were all forced into the cars in front of them were damaged to varying degrees, mine being the only one totaled that I know of).

I absolutely believe that using a cellphone while driving is negligent behavior.

only cause it happened to you.
i got t-boned by a camaro in tucson when a dude ran a red light (no damage to me, but the contour was off the street for a few weeks).
the driver had his G/F in the right seat.
i punched him & called her ugly (her leg was broken, rofl)

i think they should ban driving with skanks aboard.

Cell phones?..I watch out for those vermin that pull out of Harvey's drive through's..Spillin condiments,mustard & hamburger juice on lap whilst lane changin (without signaling)..

i always store a plastic doughnut under the seat in case i get pulled over..

as Cop approaches car,toss ringette onto road shoulder and put car in gear..
