Film Pilots Wanted!!!
« on: July 02, 2006, 03:12:31 AM »
Tomorrow, around 18:45 GMT, I would like to take 4 cool screenshots. I would really like 4 good pilots, and, if possible, 3 gunners as well. The pictures will take place in the TA. I will outline the 3 pictures:

1. I would like 3 volunteers to fly TBM Avengers (light) in formation like the above aces high logo, only there will be one pilot flying an A6M "Zero", diving on the avengers, firing, whilst several gunners in the TBMs fire back.

2. I would like 4 pilots flying Messerschmitt Bf-109 G-2s, in a diamond formation like this:

............................. .........____/\____...............................................................
............................. .........l___##___l...............................................................
............................. ...............#.........................................................................
.......____/\____....................*#*.................____/\____................................
.......l___##___l............................................l___##___l................................
.............#.........................................................#.............................................
...........*#*.....................................................*#*..........................................
............................. ............................. ............................. ...........____/\____...
............................. ............................. ............................. ...........l___##___l...
............................. ............................. ............................. .................#.............
............................. ............................. ............................. ...............*#*...........

With myself in lead plane. Just a quick screen, and its back to base for the third picture.

3. This will be a 4 man Junkers Ju-87 Stuka picture with the aircraft in the same formation as above. This picture MUST take place just as we cross the shore-line.

4. The final picture involves only two people, one person in a P-51D Mustang, and myself in a Bf-109 G-2. This picture will be just like the intro picture for the game, with the P-51 on auto-pilot level, as will I, but i will line up my reticle on the P-51, use external view, from the front, and snap a picture with full guns firing.

I hope we can get enough people for this, and you can either PM me if you would like to be in it, or post here, and even just show up. Everyone in the pictures will be e-mailed copies, and if you cant be there for the pics, sign up here if you want a copy!

                                                                                         Thank you,
                                                                                          Airman
                                                                                         Andrew 'Reynolds'
                                                                                         Dinmore,
                                                                                         Flying Taget!

18:45 GMT?

What's that in Pacific Time?   -8 hours difference?

I'd also like to help out, only if time permits though.  If I have any free time then, I will be there for sure.

I like folks who are willing to be actors in other people's films or screenshots for I will return the favor, as it should be.

THanks folks, these will look cool, I have just one modification:

TBMs will go in heavy, and we will get a screen of them torpedoing a carrier!

Yo Rey, check out my film in my signature below, it has TBM's using torps to kill a CV.

I hope it helps to give you some ideas on what exactly you'd like your picture to look like.

Thanks all, but due to some computer trouble, the pictures didnt work, and my computer kept crashing, but, i would like to praise Tonk and Platano for beutiful formation flying, and (if i get your name wrong, im sorry, it was several hours ago) DirtyB for excellent piloting of an A6M, and thank them all for their assistance. I will be trying this again when i get my good computer back. So, on July 25/26 I would like to try this again. (If i go on 25, it will probably be at about 0600 GMT, at latest, 0700 GMT. If its on the 26th, it will again be at 1845 GMT. Thanks again guys for your effort. If the pics had come out, they would have been awesome!!!
