109 skinners?

I have a 109 question for skinners.  What if anything should be put on the rudder to replace the uh other thingee. ;)   It just seems bare without a marking in that location.  Could something like the Iron Cross be put there at an angle?

Salute Lord Fencer,

A black cross rotated at 45 degrees would work.  However, I cant think of any LW aircraft that this has been done on in the past.  I believe that everyone has left them blank with exception of those that had other insignia (Swiss 109 for example.)

Putting anything in its place would just draw the eye to the error.

The best thing to do is leave it blank.
