I agree that some people simply don't have the concentration needed to drive competently and any additional load on their allready strained concentration is too much for them... this would include changing radio stations or trying to recall what they are in the car for tho..
Sooo... since smoke affects a couple of percent of the weakest of us... let's ban it....

Nope.. I would say that increased fines/penalties for doing stupid things while distracted is the real answer.... if the guy drives off the road trying to eat a burger then the penalty is increased... if the woman rear ends you while trying to put on makeup... penalty increased... guy is weaving and slowing and speeding up while on the cell phone.... reckless driving.
Why is the solution these days allways to remove as much freedom or dumb things down to the level of the worst of us? Oh wait... that is the point of socialism isn't it?
