So I'm up in a Zero last night just cruising around at 10k and find 2 rooks bouncing a slow and low Knight. I circle for a second to figure out the angles and down goes the Knight, leaving a 51D and a SpitIX. I think "What the hell." and dive right into the mix. I got the pony on my initial pass with a deflection shot from his high 4. The spit and I then tangle for a couple minutes. All I could think of was "Angle Off, Angle Off, make it hard for him to get a shot." The spit managed to get some mg's into my starboard wing but nothing serious. We looped and turned for about another minute when I was presented with a solution, canopy snapshot. It was brief, but was all I needed. As I watched him plummit into the sea below, I realized I had just survived my first 2 vs 1 engagement. Yes I had alt on them both. Yes I got to choose my battle. But victory was mine, and I owe it all to you fine people who have willingly taught me so much!!!

At least you didn't ram them!  Just kidding Jolly way to go sir!  Don't be hesitant to jump in and believe that you will kill them all.  You might get some smartarse remarks about your post but ignore them.  They don't matter anyway.  Next time you see me on text me and we will go to the DA and practice up on some acm's.  :aok  I fly under the name SmashR ingame.

I only try to collide with you =) I know its you when I look up and you're barreling in for a HO shot!!!  Just kidding.  The last time we collided you rear ended me I believe. I think you and I had 3 collisions in 2 days.

I'd love to go to the DA and give it a go. If I last more than 60 secs do I win a prize??????

I was thinking if you last ten seconds you deserve kudos but thats not the point!  hee hee We'll have fun fighting and maybe you can show me that pull in front of the guy collision move you have.  cyas on :aok

10 seconds? Ok. Its on like Donkey Kong now =0


Btw- it took me a LONG time to perfect the "pull in front of the guy collision" move. I'm thinking about keeping it a secret.





COBA- Yeah it was incredible stuff. The ZERO is so much fun to fly. It's a weakly armored plane and as such I get flamed sometimes by the smallest of pings, but HOLY SHEEET can it turn. I've set my convergence to 350 and usually pull the trigger when d400 becomes d200. Seems to work out pretty good so far.

WTG on the win Jolly... may there be many more to celebrate :).

And if you like turn and slow, but want to be able to take a bit more of a beating... have you considered the Hurricanes?? Not as brightly colored, but certainly fun to fly!

yea that was the museum of flight in seattle ... yes they have a p-38 :)

the p-51d thats in there is fake ..


whats really irritating is when your in those nasty furballs .. you cant get the time to get a shot in because when you do thats when ya get whacked .. so you spend what seams like forever dodging there bullits and out manuvering them ...

WTG Jolly!!

I was in the area when you did this last evening.Hearing the excitement in your voice as you related the incident reminded me of how much fun this game can be. I always start my film rolling when I'm in a 2 vs1 or 3 vs 1 situation,because some nights you cant fly  or hit anything and you'll need those films top encourage yourself to go on to the next level.

Always a pleasure flying with you.
