It's scary how much those thoughts mirror my own.

yup. It actually resonated for me as well when it happened.
I see Nash said something about sociopaths....
I met one also, or more precisely, a type "a" personality, with the free floating hostility most prominent. there was another name for it, I forget what, but it was a spooky guy who just almost "wished" hate on others who crossed his path.
something he did just to mess with me:
at the time I was quality control for a photo company, and we had these OLD legacy terminals to run the machines. we are talking green monochrome systems, but I had the ability to look at logs, and old screen data.
he found out about this, and I caught him messing up a print series. he used an incorrect setting, and I was to blame for having the machine out of calibration. it was not. I had to print the log on an old dot-matrix printer, and cleared my own name in the incident.
the next day checking the logs, EVERY machine in the shop had a full 2 pages of series commands "F*** you Dave you will die" hidden behind a few pages of actual work functions.
I had to print them and once again prove my own innocence / safety.
he went through the trouble of doing this on over 22 terminals.
there are some seriously disturbed people in this world who confuse a somewhat rational thought, or feeling into real life actions.
