Interesting news from iEN

A quote from iEN's most recent quarterly report:

"As of the balance sheet date the Company believes that it may not have sufficient cash resources to fund it's operations through the next twelve months. The Company has received inquiries as to a potential merger and has retained Concordia Capital Technology Group to advise it on strategic alternatives. There is no assurance that the Company will be able to close on any financing transaction. The Company does not have any current arrangements or commitments for any future financing. The Company may not be able to obtain sufficient additional financing to satisfy its cash requirements. The Company may be required to obtain financing on terms that are not favorable to it and its shareholders.

The Company has been informed by its independent auditors that, depending on its success in obtaining additional financing to meet future cash requirements referred to above prior to the completion of their audit of the Company's consolidated financial statements for the year ending December 31,
2000, their auditor's report on those financial statements may be modified
in that these matters may raise substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern"

Dinger, I don't think editing quotes is proper.

I wasn't suggesting editing the quotes, just pointing out how desperate things are.

The rule is:
"it's" indicates the contraction "it is"
"its" refers to the possessive use (anglo-saxon genitive"

What's the date on that??  Mighty interesting to say the least.

edited to add: http://biz.yahoo.com/e/001108/ient.html

Maybe Cabby, Stiglr, Hedu  and MG for starters can pool together and toss them a life ring?

p.s.  MS hgas Fighter Ace for MMP along with very successful Crimson Skies and CFS II. Why would they want WB III ?

Westy, I'd suspect if they wanted to, they would do it for added income. The charge 9.95$ for FA, is CFSII or Crimson Skies an online charge to play as well as buying the box?

THey would probably have to bring on some of iEN's staff to finish off WBIII if they were to acquire it.. or Bill could pull one of his classics and just buy the software and let his nerdy followers learn the code. How do you think we have Winbloz? ;-)

CFS is not pay-to-play on the Zone.

FA and CS are not WBIII.  While there may be player crossover, they are not the same games -- they cater to different crowds (FM, strategy, dare I say arcade).

MS may look at it as another monthly-fee money making venture.  Let's face it, WB has an existing customer base, so the only drop-off you'd have is people who hate MS or possible server problems after a move (not to mention MAC users).  They could be reasonably sure that there would be a base from day 1.

VR-1, a third party company, developed FA for MS (third party until MS bought a stake in them).  No reason to believe that MS could not do the same with WarBirds.

One has to remember that iEN is not just WB.

WB is just one part of the puzzle, and doing very well in itself.
