I don't know about that...I was one of the younger AW vets out there.  Started in 1994 when it was free on AOL.  December 25th, 1994 was my first day with a computer and internet access.  We hooked up the family Dell Dimension 100 or something along those lines.  It took me about 5 minutes to click "Games" and "Air Warrior" in big red letters.  Downloading on the 28.8k modem didn't take all that long and soon enough I took to the skies as Gol-4.  I promptly shot down some friendly airplanes taking off in front of me and discovered what being PNG meant.  I took my time then to download the remaining cockpit art so every airplane wasn't a P-51 and started my career.

First the 444th Air Mafia for a number of years under Pak...Lt. Packboy...the real Pak.  Packers fan who came up with 444 for Favre and his 3 super bowl wins at the time.  Yep.

19th Air Wing after the shift to GameStorm.  A summer off due to various junior golf tours and then joined up with the ~U.S.M.C.~ under Grim.  Same Grim we have today.  By this time I was a sophomore in High School.  Played all the way until the day of infamy during which EA killed AW.  Dabbled with WWII Online, never played Warbirds.  Found AH when I talked on the phone with some of the guys and been here ever since.

I started when I was 11.  I turn 23 this month...any AW vets younger than myself by all means please step forward :)

When I started I was on the helium tank.  Because of this game I kept with the "dream" of flying and if I go to Lear school here in the next month or so I'll come full circle with my ATP and a couple of type ratings.  These games and people have meant more to me than just a "hobby" as most know it.  It's ingrained as part of my life and I wouldn't give it up for anything in this world.  Except for maybe Scarlet Johanssen.  I'd drop it in a heartbeat until I had my fun and then come back because I'm a junkie.

So as not to disappoint:

While I am on the roster of Air Warriors and BigWeekers, I was not around for Longbow. I flew around that time as both Savage and Hilts. But I was not really part of it all until later. I flew several scenarios both there and here. I don't fly them much any more, although I do fly some snapshots and FSO missions. But I missed Longbow and a few of the others.

Ah - the good old days.

I think that year we had a scenario frame in 11 of the 12 months. that was a VERY Busy scenario year.

I may have flown the first set of frames in a B17.

But for me it turned into TOO LONG BOW . . . .

Just waiting for the next AH PEARL Scenario . . . I need to defend my two time AW Title !

The FBI wouldn't want a damned thing to do with that crew. I speak from experience, I know a lot of those folks. They could screw up a good insane asylum.
