Once you get to level 10, go to the HS instead of primary and you'll have to pay 300 before you get in.  There is no "finishing", you just move up.

Only benefit I see is they can loan you uber weapons when your still a noob. Other then that, there is no benefits that I can tell.

It seems you must be lvl 30 to start a gang. The terms used by the game was "purchase a gang". I am assuming it will be rather expensive.

the gang we are in is currently full.  it is good for getting advice etc.

i ended up spending nearly $3m buying all my own weapons/armour.
