B24 Upstairs Maid
« on: July 10, 2006, 10:28:00 PM »
Greetings,

Anybody done a B24 with nose art of 'The Upstairs Maid"?  The pilot lives in my town.  Talked to him a couple of days ago - told me the tale of when the Red Tails (Tuskegee Airmen) saves his tail when the turbos went out after a run.  Something about a Bf 109, Valley of Death, Avenging Angel (a Mustang from above) . . . . and the right side waist gunner got one also!

Regards,

This must be your bird.  It's a 15th AF bird anyway and the Red Tails would have covered them.
