Saitek x45 reinstallation HELP!
« on: July 12, 2006, 09:45:04 AM »
I had to reformat my PC and when reinstalling the X45 and then I tried to use the profile editor I got this message

'"You must plug in a supported Saitek programmable controller before you can continue .."

Anyone with the same problem?  I forgot how to get it to work since its been a while.

I am running
Windows XP SP2 and I got the latest saitek x45 drivers

Thx in advance for any help

I think straffo means to un-install the profile software in that first step above ...

You can't have the X45 plugged in when you install the software.
So, turn off your computer.
unplug the x45
boot your computer
uninstall the saitek profile software
reboot
install the saitek profile software
hook up the x45 when program tells you to
good luck
