..and when you go to the Doctor, make sure you mention the fact you asked a bunch of flight sim geeks for medical advice on an internal injury  :)   Getting hurt is bad enough, having to rely on the advice of total strangers to seek prompt medical care....priceless ;)

Next time dont be in a hurry/lazy and use a spring compressor. People die from springs like that shooting out.

Go see the doc asap.

Umm, There's these things called spring compressor's, ya know.
And get it checked out, you could very easily have fractured your sternum.

What is that? Young, dumb, and ugly?  Yeah i'm a dumb teenager, no one told me about the compressor so I didn't ask.

And yes Batfink, my chest is strong, I wan't laying on the ground after it hit me, then again maybe Zidane's headbutt is like a speeding rain.  I'm an invincible teenager, didn't you guys know?

I was thought I was an invincible teenager once, when I was killed I had to change my viewpoint.

Seems like a fairly good decision to me Holden.

On the other hand you could have just hoped for a better second round.

I've broken or bruised 13 ribs over my life. Football and being smaller than other players , Motocross , and plain stupidity.

GO TO THE DOC. They can't do anything for em if that's all it is. It will be sore for a couple of weeks ar least.

GO TO THE DOC and get it looked at just to make sure.

Find a new Mechanic to work for. If the guy didnt tell you have deadly springs like that can be he is a fool. Your parents would have owned his shop if you got killed.

Maybe thats their plan

They DO own the shop.  Simple lapse in judgement, those are the ones that always kill you.  Wasn't paying attention for a second, got a little distracted, didn't remember a spring could take your head off.....etc.

Oh, it's feeling a tad bit better now, was a ***** to get out of bed this morning though, couldn't sit up.
