Nope, but I got UK version.  I'm tempted to buy the US version just to get the patch early.   :D

Best damn boxed game I have ever played.  Go buy this tonight people.  But cancel your weekend plans first.   :)

I have the U.K. version as well. I have never been so caught up in a boxed game as I am with this. The patch is supposed to add several new vehicles/craft and more missions.

Running outta missions is not a problem tho. There's a bunch on the net & I'm making my own. Lol, I'm not saving em tho. I make my own missions so hard even I can't beat em and I know whats going to happen. Damned AI  :)

This is going to KILL that peice of garbage "AH" for sure. This is so evolutionary and  bestest sim out there.

 Oh wait. Wrong topic  :)

I'm looking forward to trying it out again. I did have the demo moons ago but I lost interest with no MMP option and the limited missions. My impression was it was simply the best combined arms boxgame to date. It's what WW2O should have been in many, many respects.

The game has improved tenfold since that demo - framerates are much better, towns are smooth...  it is the most fun I've had in an infantry game, hands down!

There is an ultimate update patch, or some such name.  It adds a bunch of stuff like walking, a few vehicles (IIRC).  Is this the patch to bring the UK version inline with the US one?  It was released about the time the US version would have gone gold.

It was available thru the website - I saw notice of it on Codemasters email newsletter.

Cheers

The Upgrade was released right before the US version went Gold.  There will be another Upgrade released next week to bring all versions up to the spec of the US version.

Hey Vosper!!!
Yeah, as funked said, the ultimate upgrade was from 1.10 to 1.11. This was just before the Gold release. The next patch will get the U.K. version updated with the U.S. version just released.

Ordered two copies on the morning of Aug 28th direct from coadmasters. Page said it should take 6 days to get here. Can't wait!.

From what I understand, the US version does not need to be updated on Sept 7th ?

Swoop says hes going to set-up online Trabant races   :)

At axleonline.com the best demo missions are final frontier, Oklahoma, and Arnheim. You can get Tin cans too but thats a toughie.

Oh forgot to add "Summer in the City"

Hiya 10bears. Can't remember where I got it right now but the best user created mission I have played yet is called Widow Maker Hill. Intro scenes & all. Absolutely incredible mission and near impossible to beat until you use your noggin and employ some tactics, lol.
