Fonda?
« on: November 01, 2001, 11:50:00 PM »
The recent post on Jane Fonda has had me thinking.  No, I don't think kicking an old squeak will do anything more than make the dog uncomfortable.  Why bother.

More to the point, this war has its own version of Hanoi Jane.  Her name is Cynthia A. Mckinney. She is the Democratic Congresswoman from Georgia. I am not one of these guys that posts a book full of links to make a point  :).  Ill just post this one to give you the idea. http://www.nationalreview.com/goldberg/goldberg102901.shtml

Whutta dum broad. She'd last about 3 posts on this BBS.. which is, after all; only a 'political forum' populated by airplane nuts.

Last night I watched Ms Mckinney grilling the spokesman for the Northern Alliance, on CSPAN. She pointed out that during the war between the Northern Alliance and the Taliban.  The NA had violated the Talibans civil rights by killing them.  Looking understandably confused. The spokesman pointed out that even as he spoke, the U.S. was violating the hell out ot the Talibans civil rights.

Damn... obviously; she's also a rocket scientist.

Speaks volumes on her constituents, too.

Damn, with politicans like this.. it's gotta look to the world like we deserve to lose.

"You can almost see the "Far Side" cartoon — with McKinney jabbering on, and the prince sitting on a pile of money hearing nothing but "blah, blah, blah, blah, Your Highness, blah, blah, blah.") "

How this woman became a politician without learning when it's best to simply shut up is beyond me.

Perhaps her constituancy can elect her as an in country representative to the taliban in Afghanistan. I'm sure she'll feel right at home with her "civil rights" as a woman there.

This person has certainly "come out of the closet" in a BIG way.
