I still don't know if I like that exhaust.

That said, that's my opinion and I respect that my opinions and "person X"s opinions might not be the same :)

I'd fly it any day.

Kev,

Great work on her, I'd really love to have an olive B17 to fly.

Got another riddle -

A lot of wartime pics of B17's show upperwing walkway stripes, but I can't find a wartime pic of "Nine O Nine" showing the upper wing area.

So I dont know whether to include them.

Looking through the 91st History, there is no consistant sign of the walkways.  They appear on mainly NMF birds from what I can see.  I only saw them on 1 F model in OD/Gray.  That doesn't confirm it either way other then to give you a bit of artistic license I think :)

I'd go for it, just for the added detail

Guppy, speaking of walkways, what was the rule, if any? On Ruby's Raiders I have a late '44 BMF bird, but I had no idea if it should have had them or not. For general knowledge purposes, do you have any info on these walkway stripes?

I have no idea.  My first thought is it might be particular to one of the company's building 17s as it just doesn't show up on all of them.  It seems more likely to find it on a NMF bird then an OD bird, but I don't think there is a set answer.  I wish I knew.

I'd do it just for the added detail, because I don't think you can be wrong unless you have specific photo evidence showing it NOT there.

Man this skin keeps getting better & better. Kev, I'm guessing you use Photo Shop to work your magic ?

P.S: I love the chalk board look ! :aok

P.P.S: if the original didn't have walkway stripes, then you have answered your question !

Paint Shop Pro 8 here :)

Chalky effecy is a combination of two distressing layers (basically broken greyscale patterns), and a single hand done layer using a brush made out of believe or not, flowers.

Walkways stripes - Don't know, can only find one picture of the original "Nine O Nine" and it doesnt show upper wings.

Couple changes -

a) Improved mission markings
b) Trying to get the browny color Olive Drab fades the correct shade.
