LCD Monitor question
« on: July 16, 2006, 05:59:35 PM »
I just purchased a new LCD 19" monitor as well as adding memory to my overall system.  It has dramatically improved the quality of the gaming display for me.  However, one change I have found is that when pulling higher G turns, the black out I used to see gradually set in and gave the "tunnel vision" effect letting me know when to let up on the stick.  Now for some reason, the blackout is instantaneous throughout the screen.  When it sets in, it really sets in.

Anyone know why it does that?  and more importantly, how to fix it?

Thanks --  any input is appreciated.

also make sure the monitor drivers are loaded.

delete the video8.cfg file in the AH settings dir.

I'd run AH @ the monitors highest refresh it allows(after loading its drivers)
and  run AH and windows @ its native resolution. which probably is
1280x1024.
