so I spend a week flying around on my own and think I know how to handle my plane fairly well.. WRONG!!!!  Nothing quite like getting smoked in training and the main level about a dozen times to let you know that this isn't childs play boys and girls :D

Still having fun though :)

Time to go die a few more times before bed :)

to all of those I didn't see who smoked me :)

I told a guy at work to practice flying and getting his views all straight offline, but don't waste any time learning how to land at first cuz it aint gonna happen:rolleyes:

there is no other game that I would have continued to play after the initial constant death experiences.  You have to love flying and the excitement and the challenge of the air war.
Thats where the hook goes in!

I now look at AH2 as a pyramid scheme .. as long as new people keep logging in I will always have someone I have a chance of shooting down!:t

Thanks guys.. this is a blast and I didn't mind getting shot down I just wish it had been more of a challenge for my opponents :)  Time, practice, patience, etc.. I don't like to lose but I know I have to at first..

It IS an addiction already and I know it because the xbox just got sent to the living room :D

For anybody new I can say don't hesititate to ask fo help and advice.  I've already gotten tons and I hope someday to pay it forward :)

Dicho37,

like Murdr said, welcome to your new addiction. Check out the AVA arena, it's a little different, less people, more historic setups, and a good bunch of regulars to show you the ropes.

Also, check out the scenarios, all run and organized by players...Ton's O' Fun.

Don't forget KOTH ( King of the Hill tournaments) twice a month.

Spend some time in the TA with a trainer, or a Vet. Well worth the time.
