Is there a link to the map for the upcoming FSO? I would like to get it downloaded before friday , and I usually get stuff downloaded at work.... thanx in advance

Go to AH homepage, select DOWNLOADS --> TERRAINS --> and choose AHSLOT2.EXE

All terrains can be downloaded from this page:

To find the terrain that will be in use, refer to the writeup for the event on the Events server here:here

Select FSO

Click on image in main frame. ( should be a picture with Friday Squad Operations spelled out )

This will bring up the details for the current FSO. Scroll down until you see 'Arena Settings'.

Normally, the first item will be the map to be used. In this case ( Fire in the Sky ) it is 'The Slot'.

Find 'AHSLOT2.EXE' on that initial download page I posted, and there ya go. Note, there are no other maps with 'SLOT' in description, so that will be the one.

Sorry for the confusion, but the map has only been uploaded to the SEA terrain folder, so you cannot get to it until you log in while the new map is loaded.

The map on the downloads page is still the old one.

If we can get it to a place for you to download it ahead of time, an update will be posted here.

If you have questions as to which version you have, the date on it should be 7/16/06.

I am trying to get the SLOT terrain loaded into the SEA whenever an event or practice for the scenario is not being run. Please have a look in there periodically.

Also, make sure you show up early Friday night in case you need to get the update.
