Do any of you know of a good sailing ship combat game?

Something that does ships up to first rate ships of the line would be cool.

Any good sims for this stuff?

Even an old one would be cool.

Yeah.... count me in too.

As far as I know, the only thing that deals with this is Pirates... but that's got too much D&D for me.

Stay clear of "Sid Meier's Pirates".

It gets old fast.

Age of sail II privateers bounty, is ok I had fun with it awhile back, you can get it at target for under $10

Sandman - I used to play that for a bit. I thought I knew a thing or two about sailboats. Got my bellybutton handed to me almost every time.

Also, that isn't skillz, it's luck.

Try hitting a target at 32,000 yds moving at 27 knots with a 20 knot crosswind from a fast moving gun platform...then we'll talk skillz.
