Civilization III

Just picked this game up (was on sale for $28 and couldn't pass it up  :)).  It is every bit as addicting as the original was.  Wasted many a day my freshman year to 3 things: beer, women, and Civilization.

I recommend this game to anyone that was/is a fan of the Civ series (and those that want a little break from AH every now and then).

Damn Japanese need to get a harbor so I can trade with them to get saltpeter!  I -must- have my gunpowder!!!  I could just go kick their butts and take some land, but I don't wanna start a war on a far off continent just yet...   :D

dang I love that game.  Wish I coulda got it for $30.  Paid full price here.

I knew you were a cool guy Math, ya fly the Hellcat and you like Civ!   :)

How's it compare to CIV: Call to Power 2? (which does have multiplayer)

I'm having a ball with Civ III. Hands down the best PC game series EVER! Although, I must say that nothing beats the original Civ 1 way back in 1991. That was the 2nd computer game I ever bought.

Civ is great, but I still like the Wing Commander games the best.   :)

My wife will probably be happy at first to see something that is not Alpha Centauri on the screen -- at least for the first week or so  :)
