That's what they are calling those FEMA trailers that everyone was dying for.  Now they might be dying because of them.

States some of the trailers tested (44 out of the how many thousands or millions) may contain .34 PPM of formaldaheyde.  Good stuff!

most new houses are made from the same materials and give off toxic gases, where have you been for the last 50 years?

and yes, the "new car smell" is full of toxic gases.

so would you rather sleep on the cold ground in the rain or have a nice warm "toxic trailer"?

Only been around the last 16, never even had a chance to eat lead based paint chips:(

Completely ridiculous.

Those fumes are present in every new home built in this country.

Healthy?  Probably not.  Routine and commonplace and well-known?  Most definitely.

I agree...the same people who bought hookers, booze and drugs with federal aid money now want to sue for MORE money.  Sue the people who gave them free money and a home, BTW.

Guess the hookers, booze and drugs have run out from the first round.

It's amazing how little pride or self-respect some people can actually live with.  Do they never get embarassed for themselves?

Betcha more than a handful even complained about the color.

The formaldehyde issue in travel trailers has been around since the early '90s. It isn't a problem and likely never was. Mainly it is a new avenue for civil litigation attorneys to rake in some easy dough.

I built almost 2000 of these trailers. We used the EXACT same materials as every other trailer we build. Some people really know how to talk out their asses.

LOL... these drug addicts and criminals who did street drugs cut with everything imaginable and wouldn't know a balanced meal if it fell on em...

Are now whining because of the offgassing of new homes from adhesives and carpet and such?

New houses and machinery have a lot of ..S##t. There is "dead" material, and then "breathing" material. There is waterbased paint and oilpaint, synthetic stuff and organic stuff.
Nothing new.

(Still wishing I hadn't used those darned wooden sheets in my house, - got hooked on plaster later)
