What files should I backup before i reformat my hard drive? I'd like to save my stick config and key/stick/view mapping files.

Thanks!

i save my terrains ,Films, settings, skins folders , and all my screen shots.

after reformating beshure you "select all" in your settings folder and turn them off "read only".  then deleate the video8.cfg  . that helps if you changed a driver or other item in your fresh os install .

This is what *I* backup regularly:

Settings - all settings for Joystick, radio, video, head positions, favorites etc etc
ahiiterr - all terrains you downloaded at one point
Skins - All skins you downloaded so far, instead of a backup you can also download the newest skin pack from HTC homepage
Sounds/Sights - only make sense to back up if youre using custom ones
Films - all the films you recorded
screenshots i took
21 is only half the truth.

Thanks Roscoroo, Schatzi. I saved the directories to cd before slicking my drive. I ran into connection speed issues after giving microsft's new antivirus program -- bad move, that program began to lock up my internet connection and left the connection slow even after uninstalling. Back to mcafee.

I'll get the game running tonight -- thanks again! :)
