Hey Bud your Son is a member of our squad.  Thought it wise to ask him to join us since we're a buncha nuts 40 yrs old and older.  All level headed gents you know such as Rob53, shamus etc.

It's a good group of older gentlemen who enjoy having fun and playing AH together.  Since our squad range age is older most are quieter, don't go ballistic, or swear online while playing.  (However some have an afinity for farm animals that I can't explain.)

Show your Son how to setup vox if you have the time.  We'll be glad to answer any questions he might have and try and show him the ropes. Also tell him if he finds a group of people who he would like to fly with he is more then welcome to join them.  We want him to have fun.  He is not obligated to us.  Thought we might be able to give him some early help and kickstart his AH Flying Career ;)

Heck    bet about half the squad are grandfathers :rofl

Hey hajo, he was pretty excited to be invited to your squad. We've not figured out which key is voice activation yet (F12?) and not quite sure if the mic works or not.  We'll work on that.

He's just a two-week wonder unless he shows an interest at the end of two weeks to see if he wants to continue...he's not played since he was 6 years old and he's 10 now. Football training now starts Monday and that is 5 days a week, 2 hours a night, so he's going to be very busy! Once school starts, there is NO computer time except week ends(unless it is school-related)

Nothings changed, he has NO situational awareness and gets into those Rope-a-dopes quite often (like when Dred nailed him last night over I believe 129? Dred was in a 109 and Gordon in a Spit)

There are alot of commands that we've both forgotten (its been over 2 years since I played) and I've yet to map the Saitek for him so be patient, we'll get him up to speed. :)

Thanks.

Saw Hiyas!  Get back here soon will you!

Rip no problem.  T Key for vox F12 is local channel.

Attendance not an issue.  Just want him to have fun.  We do.

He'll learn the hard way like we did.  Tell him don't sweat the small stuff just  enjoy Aces High.

One thing Rip and I have in common:  The annihilation of Niki's.

Maybe the "old man" will fly every now and then, I'd switch countries for that.
