Dace my frame 2 orders

Dace here are the orders I sent out for Frame 2. Well done on your victory!

I hope everyone saw some action and had a good time. That is what it is about. Some lose track of that and are willing to sacrifice fun for some of the players, to pull out a win.




The bases we are to defend are:
A9
A10
A11
A12

The following squads are assigned base defense.
A9
C Hawks 16-21 pilots (A6M2)
A10
56th FG 7-10 pilots (A6M2)
A11
III Jabo 7-10 pilots (A6M2)
A12
Loose Cannons 11-15 pilots (A6M5)

The following squad is assigned to sweep V4 and Guadalcanal.
332nd Flying Mongrels 11-15 pilots (A6M2) Follow the blue path outlined on the map below. Head directly for A4 climbing out the whole way. Up with 2-50kg bombs. Drop them soon after lift off.

All objects on the bases are considered valid targets except the towns next to the targets. The bases we are to attack are:
Port 31
V4
A1
A4

The following squads are assigned to an attack role or an escort role.
Port 31 – Follow the yellow path outlined on the map below.
Bad Company 7-10 pilots (D3A Val)
The Damned  7-10 pilots (D3A Val)
UKnighted 357th 4-6 pilots (D3A Val)

Escorts
VFS 1000 7-10 pilots (A6M2) Escort Bad Company, The Damned, and UKnighted. Follow the yellow path outlined on the map below.

V4 – Follow the red path outlined on the map below.
The Shills 4-6 pilots (B5N Kate)

2nd life in A6M2. Up from A10 and pursue any enemy aircraft in the area of A9, 10, 11, and 12.

A1 & A4 - Follow the red path outlined on the map below.
Nightmares  16-21 pilots (B5N Kate)
*Nightmares up a max of 20 B5N’s. Any more than that assign as an A6M2 escort for your squad. This will insure we don’t go over the max of 25 B5N’s. I suggest you drop most, if not all of your ordnance on A1. A4 is with in a couple miles and will have the same enemy CAP. Any pilots shot down please have them up immediately from A9 and help defend that area.

2nd life in A6M2. Up from A9 and pursue any enemy aircraft that maybe be returning to Guadalcanal or to any task groups in the area.

Yes, I'm sure you heard I almost did just that,..but do to the fact of our dedicated CM team pointing out my stupid mistakes, we got it fixed in time to have a real slugfest. Here are my FINAL set of orders.

Yes, I'm sure you heard I almost did just that,..but do to the fact of our dedicated CM team pointing out my stupid mistakes, we got it fixed in time to have a real slugfest.

It can be a trick to get some to understand that all targets must be attacked and all must be defended. If that did not happen you could have multiple squads that would not see any action. Very unlike a Scenario where they may not be sure what will be attacked or defended. One of the keys to Squad Ops success is everyone has action every frame they participate in.

BTW the attack on A11 was made by the 347th ...there was a typo in the orders .
