Something happened mother and sister on friday. They were headed out to the funeral of my aunt about 2 hours away in delaware. They got about a mile up the road away from their house when they were in a car accident.
They were making a left hand turn, and were sitting in the middle of the intersection waiting to turn. The light went from yellow to red, so they started their turn thinking everyone else was stopping. They get about halfway across (2 opposing lanes) when they get hit by a broad in the passenger side back door. Apparently, the other car never even touched her breaks. The other car was a honda, while my mom and sister were in a jeep cherokee.
The honda hit so hard that it wedged itself under the jeep. The jeep damn near immediately spun 180 degrees through the air with the back bumper being airborne. At this point, the jeep's back left bumper went through the radiator of a van just waiting at the previously red light (for him) to turn. The hit was so forceful, that it nailed the van into the car behind it, and the car behind that. The car furthest back wasn't even scratched, but the one behind the van had decent fender damage.
Absolutely scared the **** out of my sister. She only banged her knee on the dashboard, and then scraped a pair of glasses abover her right temple. Both are perfectly fine, minus a jeep.
Now to figure out who is really at fault for this.
Though maybe it was divine intervention. The accident happening that is. My other aunt (I have 3) was a very sad person and just recently committed suicide. My mom and my uncle damn near immediately flew out to colorado and "Legally" (or possibly illegally) stole my aunt's remains from her lesbian lover, ignoring the wishes of the woman and now we are possibly hearing that they ignored the will too.
Very sad story. My aunt who died was shunned by everyone from that family. No one ever talked to her and was generally the biggest ********s to her (though that is to be expected from that family, they each have a first class ticket straight to hell). Then when she dies they all take up an air of sadness and grief. Bull-****ing-****.
I would have felt nothing if my mom had been taken out in the car accident. Though I am incredibly thankful that both were barely scratched because my sister was in the car.
I could fill this thread with the nasty **** that that family has done.
But let's hear about nasty things your families have done.
