I had a psychic girlfriend once, but she left me before we met

When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive....  so, I took her to a gas station

Dichotomy: you mean ignore you? :D

Do you get sound out of your TV or do you use normal PC speakers?

Paul: gadzounds! How can you really have that as your computer desk? Too small!!

EDIT: Swoop, is that fan "in storage", or is it face-down into an open ATX case?

EDIT2: I'm not one to speak, but I'll back my posts up this evening. Have to wait til I get home. I have a "clean" photo of my desk, or I could take a new one showing it "dirty".

weeellll ummm... that's the she devils lappie on the left. She does her photoshopping, makeup shopping, etc.. while Im busily dying.  The small tv on the wall was for the Xbox or PS2 until I found this game.  The big TV usually has a movie or some show for background noise.  I wouldn't MIND another monitor though :D

Krusty of course ignore me I'm still a noob and we should all know our place ;)

I don't play on the tv... yet... I use headphones so as not to annoy She Devil.  She has told me that if I want to play on the big screen she doesn't care :rofl In the interest of staying married and avoiding wife ack I'm going to pass on that offer... for now :D

lol I saw the wires in front of the scren and the computer right there, coupled with the chair position, and I remembered all the folks bragging about 50" TV screens, and just assumed you were using it :)

You are wise beyond your years.

However when she's out for the day and you're sitting there....

As long as you hide the wires before she gets back she won't know, eh? :P

well she's going to HI for a month in October so I'm sure I'll beta test that but in all honesty the monitor is 21" and I think thats sufficient for game play :)

I've got a 19" and I admit it's pretty damn huge... But the curiousity factor!

I'd have tried it on my 32" TV a long time ago, if only said TV didn't predate S-video connectors :rofl

Hmmm, 2 dozen empty drinks, 3 ashtrays,  1 can "cretin powder", 1 rolling machine, 2 packs of loose leaf papers, 1 bottle of lube/lotion, couple packs of smokes, 8 lighters, a box of matches, a corkscrew, 4 bottles of eyedrops, 2 cans of dip, Brittany Spears, and a steakknife. :huh

Interesting. So far, Autopilot's is the only desk that doesn't look like it belongs to an addict or an ax murderer.

Disagree. Stand up and you bump your models. Move mouse too far and ding the prop on the Macchi. Models ought to be away from the human area of a computer desk. That is, I mean, they can be on top of the CPU, above the monitor, etc, but not where the human occupies space. I used to have a nice screw-on bookshelf over my desk. It had all my models (well, all that would fit). Now my walls are lightly covered drywall and won't hold a screw, let alone a bookshelf.

My room is now bereft of models. They are all packed in various peanut-filled boxes.
