Mac,

You need to change docs. Get the tests repeated on the liver functions. If the findings are confirmed with the second test, GO GET SOME HELP DUDE!!!!

Damnit the bottle is NOT the solution to life's problems, won't help you find a freaking job, and won't make you healthy.

You're life is no longer your own, it belongs to your family and you OWE them to stick around!!

Mac my old man drank himself to death, they gave him 6 months if he didnt stop drinking, he didnt and they were right.

First. Its been my experiance that the longer test results take to come back. Usually the better the news is.

When you get test results back right way. Something is usually wrong.

secondly. the doctors themselves dont usually do the bloodwork. They send it out to a lab for testing. The lab sends the results to the doctor, and he/she/it inturpets them or relays the results to you.

If there is somethign wrong. If something is found. they usually let the Doc know right away so that treatment can start as soon as possible.

If they dont find anything, they look and relook and have other people look just to make sure they dont see anything to cover themselves should something be missed.

So typically when your getting tests done. No news really is good news...usually.

3rdly. Confidentiality policies are as such that no She cant tell your wife anything without your consent.In fact Hospital policies are such as two doctors cant talk about a patient in a hallway where others might overhear.

and 4th. If you have and question about a test results validity or in prescribed treatment options.

The thread IS ad hominem.  He's asking for advice.
He's describing serious consequences of a drinking problem, and instead of focusing on that he's focusing on the doctor and other secondary issues.  Treat the addiction and the rest of the problems probably go away.  

There are some guys here who have saved their lives by doing 12 step programs, consider it Mac.

What they just posted were accusations of lying. Any proof? I think not.

Not exactly lying but denial.  Shifting blame to external sources is typical of addicts.  You might have noticed that he posted in boozonics.  Based on this and his description of his problems, it's a good assumption he is battling an alcohol addiction.  Is denial and blame-shifting germane to a discussion of a person's alcohol-related medical problems and patient-doctor relationship?  Absolutely.
