Germanys only ww2 aircraft carrier has been found

A polish oil barge found the wreck of the Graf Zeppelin in the baltic. The carrier was only ever 85 % finished and served as a supply boat during the war, and was eventually sunk as a target by USSR in 1947. Until now nobody has known were it was. She lies at 80 meters.

No need to apologise.
I, like Im sure a few others, didnt see it either.

Always cracks me up these self rightous types who criticize "old news" or subjects that had been posted before as though everyone has all the time in the world to read every singe thread that passes through every single day.

If someone doesnt like the fact its been posted before, Or its old.
Seems to tme the best way to get rid of it is not to respond to it.
Rather then whining about it which only keeps it on page 1 longer

Nilsen, I for one thank you for the post as I hadnt heard about it yet

Found it rather interesting myself. I didnt know it was 85% finished actually and never thought about were she ended up. She was supposed to be fitted out with 43 stukas.

The article is in norwegian im afraid, but im sure there are other links since the story has already been posted :)
