As a member of a known "furballer" squad, Grits simply knew he might not be taken at face value complementing a known "landgrabber" squad.  Nothing high-horsed about it.

Sheesh . . . Think we all need some lighten-up!  :aok

But I digressed.

Thank you all for the kind words about my squad.  I feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to join them.  The MA was stagnating for me before I was asked to try them out.  Now it's a hoot all over again.
(/end self-indulgent musings)

But, it wouldn't be a hoot so without all the great competition.  So, big <> to all we face!

I would also salute those I fly with, but that would be mostly LTARs, and I don't want them to get a big head or anything . . . OOPS said too much.

I have no problem with the LTARs either; if you aren't vulching and aren't in a tank, you won't even see them 99% of the time.

Since the LTARs are flying bish, and I most definitely am NOT, I'll put them in the category of guys I love to hate.  Sort of like NY Yankees (and their fans), or Dallas Cowboys (and their fans) - they may beat ya, they may even put up a good fight, but I'll always be happier if they go down in flames.

LTARs - here's to you, and to the 1,000lb bomb I just dropped over you!

When the HA's and LTARs both decide they want to own the same piece of real estate it usually turns into the Battle of the Kursk, with combined land and air forces slugging it out for hours.

Whenever a HA kills/gets killed by a LTAR, the call goes out on squad channel where the LTAR fight is and the donnybrook is on.

Great fights LTARS! Win or lose it always results in some fun action.

LTARS always put up a good fight. One thing I noticed though, the last couple I gave to some lesser known (to me anyways) LTAR's were un-answered :(

LTAR’s are formidable opponents. They definitely have a couple of black belts in ostwind operations. Always a good fight against them.

May have simply missed it.  Like all squads, occasionally someone starts talking about something and lots of stuff ends up passing on the text buffer before anyone notices.  Or if you did so on channel 200, some of the guys don't tune in.  Certainly it was not an intentional slight.

So,

21 "S" Salute.
Hope it makes up for it at least a bit . . . :aok
