You check the clock and its 23.00, you think its time for bed, you then check it "5mins" later and its 01.00 and you think yipes!!!! really should go to sleep, then finally at 04.37 you catch yourself trawling thru the message boards after hours of flytime thinking where the hell has the time gone ?!?!?!?!

Gents was fun tonite even tho I spent more time either falling to the ground in pieces or ...... generally dead.

I REALLY NEED TO GET SOME SLEEP

That's nothing. I got up at 5:30AM, to get ready for work at 8, but after spending "only" an hour in the car I got there early (about 7:30), I worked straight through the day (a bit slow toward the end, but still work) and got off at 6:30PM, just to sit in the car for another hour, getting home at 7:15PM. THEN instead of sleeping after eating, I log on to AH until 10PM LMAO!

Couldn't resist the lure of new skin DLs!!

I will roll out of bed around 5AM and get ready for work, head to work around 6:15am, work from 7-roughly anywhere around 5-7 each night, head home and from Sun-Thurs are usually "No-Fly" days. (Bad weather called: Wifey)

But on Fridays I will get in the skies around 9pm and fly till around 4:30-5 in the morning. Most Fridays I will go close to 24 hours if not over that with no sleep. I only get the weekends but I will log in close to 20 hours in 2 days just between Fri/Sat. But I also get to sqeeze in the quality time with the "Scribble" (my 3 year old son) and the wife. Nothing like sleeping through the sermon at church!

okay today I drove down to Temple to help my brother in law move and there was a plane crop dusting. He came up over the hill and my first instinct was to break right and do a split s. Thankfully I didn't roll the truck

heh, know that feeling all too well.
I call it the "Just one more flight syndrome"

In my case I once started saying "Just one more flight " at 11:00 AM on a sat.
and finally ended at 3:00 AM on sunday LMAO

Though in AW it was much worse.

I once played AW for 25 hours non stop

Never again LOL

she devil is ex army and her brothers are in the army so I hear 'roger that' all the time. But the urge to merge hits me in traffic constantly now

The pets your kids bring home and you argee to keep them only if you can name them. We have two cats, one is Zeke and the other is Lightning.

And then...

When most of the phone calls you get at home ask for you by your call sign.

And then...

Your wife starts asking who is calling and want to know their call sign.

And then...

Squadies from out of state, (even out of country) start showing up at your home and stay for several days and you have a great time showing them the local stomping grounds.

And then...

Your son starts to fly and you have conversations at the dinner table about Aces High, the Squad, and all the players with the various call signs and everyone at the table knows what your talking about.

You know your addicted to aces high when you go to airshows and and talk to warbird pilot's and if you disagree with something they say challenge them to a duel
