I'm still new to the whole add-on thing.  How do I put the sounds into the AH file?

How are you making out with the new sound pack Ranger? I feel like a 6 year old 2 days before Christmas!!

It's a-comin'.  Been working on it most nights a week lately.  You can't imagine the ungawdly amount of testing that has to be done when making a full package (I'd forgotten).  I'll put out another sample in the next couple days for peeps to try out.

HEHEHE, yes it is alot of pain staking work.  Mine took about 4-5 months to complete.

Yea, I not happy about it either.  I gonna wait till they make a final decisson on miles and how they are going to control the sound volume before I make any changes just yet.  I would hate to redo all the sounds and then they decide to change something.

I tried the pack, I liked certain parts of it.  I did not like:

-The stall buzzer.  Mostly because I was used to the default one and I found myself stalling a whole lot more often because the sound cue had changed. 
-The flaps I was mixed about.  I liked how they sounded more hydraulic and less 'abrasive' but I found that I couldn't hear the sound over the engine and people talking on TS all too often.
-The LMGs.  The sound was cool but they sounded like cannon shots to me and the .303s on the Spit sounded beefier than the .50 cals on my Corsair which just seemed so wrong to me.

It's good work though for sure.  I ended up reverting back to the standard sounds for the time being.  I plan on using some of those gun sounds though when I have time to go back and cherry pick the ones I like.

i agree with hatrick that the .50s dont sound right. the sound itself sounds right, but it should be a much lower and sharper pitch
