Man you raise them right, nurture them, push education and give unconditional Love and support.

Seems when they turn 17 their brains take a break and logic escapes them.

When a 17 year old child lies to you in front of a Police office the next step is the Army Recruiters Office.

This burned my arse bad, I raise my children well..peer pressure and she couldn't say no and had my 7 year old Son with her. She told the police officer that her Mom and Dad cant speak English. The Police Officer called and asked if I spoke English..hell yeah that and German, Korean, 2 Dialects of Chinesse and a lil Spanish. My wife is fluent in Korean and English.

So here I am 3:30 in the morning talking to Police, which were cool about the whole thing. They were gonna put my Daughter in Juvvie and my Son in DHS...

Now here is a Daughter on the National Society Honor Roll, Honor Student and writes for the local Paper her dream is to be a Journalism...she was watching my Son and went to a party that got raided by the Police.

She is beyond grounded....cell phone, car...gone.

It's tough to be a Father at times.

They can be beeeerrrry iventitive.
A couple of days ago a friend was moaning and groaning over a small thing his one daughter had pulled.
I spent about thirty minutes telling him the joys and adventures I had raising four.
He seemed to feel a lot better when I was through.

After they reached a certain age the boyfriends were my one source of pressure release. I think that`s why my blood pressure leveled out.

One boyfriend stole my car, then threatened my wife after I caught him. (That was a great little session of pent up anger release.

)
One stole my boat and was missing with my daughter over night on the lake. He made a couple of small mistakes though. The first was leaving his souped up pickup in my driveway.

The second was was letting me catch him on shore the next morning. I took him for a little ride that I`m sure he will always remember................in the truck bed....in his pickup.

I have raised two beautiful heart breakers, the stories I can tell are enough to make a week interesting... Thier choice of boyfriends has been catastrophic at best and I always seem to be the ex boyfriends favorite target... They have come at me with guns, knifes, cars, and various forms of furniture over the years... They have broken into my house, stolen my belongings, credit cards, cash... Blown up my stereo several times.... I have been forced to appear in weddings that even would make jeff foxworthy laugh....
When the best mans speech begins with "getrdone" and ends with "Getrdone"
Run for your life...
Moving to florida has to be the biggest mistake I have ever made....

Thankfully those days are over.
They have all turned out pretty well and now I get to play with the grandkids........then send them home for some payback.

I don't understand why she had your son at a time of night when a high school/college party would start? If he's seven, how late does the bugger stay up?

I'm assuming she was babysitting. At least she didn't just leave him.

Highschool partys never end...they just run out of "supplies" and and starts up again once more show up.

Boy, all you fathers tell horror stories of your daughter's boyfriends stealing and getting violent. It must be different around here because I have never heard of that. I personally am better friends with some of the dads then my ex's. Must be different around here.
