Because this game has more and more become a late 1945 sim, where the big guns and the fast rides and what its all about. Few people fly planes to the contrary, and therefore you dont find fights where people are performing maneuvers, but are simply blowing through fights guns blazing. Thats why.

That's not the planes, that's the people. You could force them all to fly the P40, and they'd act the same way. They'd fly around in a mob and be pissed off that no one was flying an even crappier plane.
