Posting Question - Just Curious

If you look at my "thingy" on the left by my avatar, it now says I have posted some 209 or 210 posts. (won't edit this to see the correct number)
I have been posting since 1999 and it seems odd that when I hit 300 or 350 messages or posts, it resets back to 200.     Does that mean I have nothing important to say?    Or is Dale (HiTech) messing with me trying to drive me nuts!    

In the scheme of things, it doesn't really matter but it does seem odd. Just thought I would bring this up. ( I think I already did a few years back) hehehe

Hmmm, d'ya reckon your posts could be being deleted because of that image you affix to every one when the TOS expressly asks that no images be used in sigs, or perhaps they are deleted because you manually type your sig into every post and HTC considers that sig spamming.

Maybe, just maybe.

I hadn't thought of that.  Well, the image is a linked one, not a real image as in "attachment" which is what I think they were looking for-in saving space. Otherwise all hyperlinks would be banned as well. The message board allows the addition of linked images and links with every post or reply. After all this time, HTC has never said it was illegal so I continue to use it. If they decide it is, then I will follow those rules and guidelines. Lastly, you are correct, I do not use the sig file feature.

11- Do not use overly large signatures. Signatures should not take up more than 5 normal sized text lines in height. Do not use images in your signature.

I'm not saying this is or is not the reason your posts are vanishing but there it is in the rules.

...and on the boards I am a member of, attaching the same piece of information again and again to posts in place of a sig is considered sig spamming.

Again, not saying this is or is not the reason.
