I just looked up the chart cited. While those states might have a lower percentage of people with a degree, they (for the most part) have more people with a degree then the other states.

For example: (numbers in the thousands)

DC - 132.5 people with a degree
CO - 913.4
MA - 204.1
MD - 1103.6
VA - 1457.9

NV - 226.5
SC - 492.6
MS - 322.3
AR - 300.8
IN - 665.7

Isn't it hilarious? First it was "Bush is stupid", now it is "People who vote for Bush are stupid", or "states that Bush carried are populated by the uneducated". At the very least, I find it amusing. Amazing how the supposedly "stupid" and "uneducated" seemed to roll right on over the multitude of geniuses.

allow me to offer an outside opinion.... regardless of political preferance, the average American isn't very intelligent. that's probably not the right word.... uninformed or ignorant is probably better.
