Setup for Saturday the 19th

After 4 weeks in Europe, it's time to move to the Pacific.

Rabaul: October-November 1943
Japanese Army Air Forces and Navy planes vs. USAAF, USN, USMC, RAAF and RNZAF birds.

Axis (bishops):
Zekes (A6M2, A6M5b), Ki-61, N1K2, D3A, B5N, Ki-67

Allies (knights):
P38G, P40s (B and E), F4F, F6F, F4U1, A20

Settings:
Historical radar (1943: tower 264000, sector counter max.)
Killshooter is on.
Friendly collisions are off.
Fuel burn is 1.0.
Visibility is 10.
Object down time is 60 minutes for all important field objects (including AAA)
Base capture: 25 troops (although there are no C47's or vehicles available)
Puffy ack is .1, other ack is .25.
Terrain: Japan (with the Kyushu bases changed to Allied, I know Slot would be closer historically, but I decided to give the Japan map a test run in the AvA too ).

I threw it in the mix just to even it up a bit.  Historically it would have only been Navy Zekes, and Army Tonies at Rabaul.  Figured they needed some help with the Hogs and F6Fs about

Understood. The Ki-61 can hang with a Hellcat no problem. However, the 1 Hog is a bit faster than the Ki-61 and can give it some problems.

Hopefully, it won't be the N1K2 vs F4U-1 the whole setup.

If it seems to be only N1K2's vs. Allied planes, the N1K2-J can easily be disabled for the Axis. I've personally always liked flying the Ki-61 Tony, but let's see how this setup does with the Niki enabled. If it's going to be only N1K's after a couple of days, I guess it's going to get dropped from the setup (or maybe limit it to some of the rear fields only).

I hope this isn't considered as an Axis conspiracy to rule the world (err, AvA)...

I'll put it up sometime during Saturday (probably during early afternoon EST), it'll be in the Axis vs Allies arena for the next week or so (depending on when the next setup is posted.. friday or saturday probably). So it'll be there for a week, all it needs is some pilots.

If you shoot at friendlies, you get the damage to yourself. The Main Arena has killshooter on, AvA would have it off if I could get to the arena to do the setup... I guess I blew it and now have to wait for Skuzzy to come reset the arena on Monday. Sorry everyone.
