How much does it cost to renew your license plate stickers?

Here in IL for light trucks and cars it runs $78 which to me is pretty outrageous. Anyone else have to pay as much as that?

Meatwad,

Compared to AZ. you have it cheap. My 6 year old trailer cost $365 for one year.. AZ. does it based on the valuation of the vehicle and in the case of commercial vehicles the valuation plus weight. If you buy a top end car or truck figure on spending over $1000.00 easily for the first year. After that it will likely decrease about 10% for a few years.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

What kind of trailer? Divide that by mileage, that's pretty steep if you tow it a few times a year. I thought the taxation was mad here. No such thing as a tax on trailer here or anywhere else that I know of, and the insurance is around $20 per annum.
